I agree that the attendance of the in-service meeting might help to facilitate practical skills and confidence of the nurses. This plan introduces the specific steps that the administration could take to cope with the problem of negligence and malpractice, following the obligations of healthcare organizations. Mainly, it defines the necessity to reeducate the nurses, provide assistance, and allow them to practice on a manikin. Such practices might help orient the staff in the issues they encounter, teach them the specific techniques, and evaluate their ability to provide necessary and appropriate care.

However, I would add some points to improve the evaluation system. Although the plan offers the strategy to analyze how the nurses provide care, it fails to present the specific steps that the nursing managers could take to assess the appropriateness of work. Mainly, they could develop distinct tasks aimed at identifying the level of readiness of the nurses. It might help to guarantee that only the employees that have sufficient knowledge care for the patients.

I agree that establishing the ventilator boot camp might help overcome the problem of malpractice and negligence. This plan provides a detailed description of the environmental organization that introduces all the aspects of the obligation. Notably, it explains how the administration can orient the nurses in their everyday activities and specific demands and expectations. This plan identifies the materials and instructions required for the appropriate functioning of the team of nurses. In addition, it offers educational approaches and proposes to allow the nurses to gain certificates. Finally, it describes all the aspects of the evaluation system in the organization.

Although this suggestion contains all the necessary elements, it can benefit from identifying the responsibilities of the nursing managers in the organization. Mainly, the introduction of the tasks and instructions of these leaders might help to understand their role in the structuring of the employees’ work (Chaghari et al., 2017). Besides, it might demonstrate how the managers contribute to the educational process and the procedure of assessment.
