The professional medical organization website American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), is an accredited body open to every nurse practitioner or every interested body. This website presents various infographics and research for developing nurse practice in the US. The mission of AANP is to advance accessible and person-centered healthcare systems. The association celebrates training, prolonged education and development, medical research, and leadership. Therefore, in the mission of AANP, it is evident that the Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) system because the organization fosters evidence to study and accessible healthcare (AANP, 2022).

In addition, the website published several articles and research regarding EBP. The article “Why Choose Evidence-Based Practice?” defines the successful integration of clinical expertise and patient values in the organization’s decision-making process. It is safe to state that AANP is grounded on the principles of EBP because Dr. Melnyk (2021), in an article on the website, argues in favor of such an initiative in healthcare. According to her evidence, the NP and many other healthcare providers could experience burnout in the process of their careers. EBP, on the contrary, is empowering technique since patient outcomes are significantly improved. The website provides impressive statistics on free clinic results: evidence-based interventions led to a 597% increase in positive effects (Falcone et al., 2020). Although many clinics believe in the effectiveness of EBP, they do not implement it in their decision-making and do not achieve the best clinical outcomes. The main reason behind it is their lack of knowledge and inability to implement the EBP effectively.

Therefore, it is critical to understand EBP and foster it in the healthcare system. The information on the website provides solid support for the effectiveness of this practice and the subsequent development of nurse practitioners’ work. Many health procedures require enhancements in their care costs, not to mention improving the work life of clinicians and everyone involved in the population’s well-being. My perception of the healthcare system changed due to the quantities and qualities of free improvement projects provided by AANP. The evidence-based practice includes mass communication, improved workflow, and successful leadership for future health initiatives. Those practices allow for achieving Quadruple Aims, improving population health, and enhancing the patient experience.
