An individual’s health index reflects the optimal quality of nursing care provided across the community. The advent of COVID-19 intensified people’s exposure to reduced immunity and death risk due to the vulnerable demographic group (Labrague & de Los Santos, 2021). In this case, diagnosing an old woman with COVID-19 required developing an effective solution to the problem and alleviating the threat of spreading to family and society. This study explores the efficacy of implementing the nursing educational brochure that involves the enlightenment of patients based on the optimal care and significance of family and community involvement in the treatment and recovery process. The quality of care in hospitals reflects the implementation of the dynamic medical theoretical frameworks concerning coordinated delivery system. Educating patients concerning their condition and the best care remedies improves care coordination proficiency among all entities. In this case, it is the responsibility of the practitioners to optimally consider informed consent among the clients to boost the recovery and treatment based on efficient interaction (Sfantou et al., 2017). On the one hand, enlightening the patients about the procedures asserts the prominence of observing precautionary measures to avoid re-admission for similar cases. On the other hand, creating awareness fosters ethical and moral codes in the industry based on the invasion of an individual’s body parts enhancing client’s safety.

At the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, a significant percentage of countries implemented the lockdown policy hence restricting movement of people. The initiative affected job stability leading to increased financial instabilities among households. The issue further intensified due to the exposure of the vulnerable community members to the virus and cost of medication. The diagnosis of an old woman with COVID-19 rendered the necessity of incorporating effect care coordination approach (Labrague & de Los Santos, 2021). The main reason involved understanding the needs of the patient while establishing core preventive measures and values among families and the populace.

Different variables influence the impact of COVID-19 pandemic to the patient, family, or population. The rise in COVID-19 infections among the vulnerable individuals in the community is a major problem that optimally affects distinctive aspects in the healthcare sector (Labrague & de Los Santos, 2021). These issues include the leadership, change management, patient collaboration, communication, and the Board nursing practice regulatory structures. The assessment of the issue fosters an indepth overview concerning the effect of COVID-19 illness and the abiding policies impacting the society. The various components influencing implication level of the pandemic are discussed below.

Role of Leadership and Change Management in addressing the Problem

The first measured outcome from implementing the educational brochure initiative is effective leadership and management that relies on the integral exploitation of strategies to boost productivity among medical practitioners. The healthcare department evolved along the gradient of increased interaction between people, professionals, and technology. As a result, it is essential to address the critical problem arising from the diversity in beliefs and practices within a hospital environment (Kryzanowski et al., 2019). Oppression is a pillar to an organization’s yield of low-quality services, especially in a clinic due to poor coordination between workers attributed to defective communication. Therefore, the quantification of the charisma among the captains is the positive comment from the workers regarding the flow of information within the organization and trickle-down effect to the patient care. A different grading approach compares nurse turnover rate within an institution after the actualization of the plan. Notably, the outcome renders a proficient overview of the nursing concept’s efficiency scale.

Leadership and change management optimally influence the efficacy of the nursing ideology encompassing development of informative brochures for patients to attain advanced knowledge regarding COVID-19 and necessary care coordination. During practice, one of the critical challenges I encounter is enhancing patient interaction, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic. It is crucial to incorporate the program since it elevates the inclusivity of distinctive stakeholders in the treatment and recovery process (Labrague & de Los Santos, 2021). Intensifying the reconstruction of an old woman’s social and cultural environment through the involvement of family and community members fosters an adept therapeutic effect during the healing process under the gradient of optimal enlightenment. Therefore, it is the responsibility of nurses to gather crucial details concerning care provision among COVID-19 patients and developing a brochure. The sick personnel learn vital insights about COVID-19 based on prevention, treatment, and recovery hence steering proficient change management initiative.

Communication Strategies and Patient Collaboration Techniques associated with the Problem

The core implementation plan alleviating the negative effect of poor communication in hospitals integrates nursing theory. The quality of hospital services reflects the implementation of the dynamic medical theoretical frameworks. The implementation of enlightenment brochure program enshrines the adept inclusivity of nurses, patients, families, and the populace towards understanding key values to observe during COVID-19 pandemic (de Moraes et al., 2021). The process involves the collection of crucial details regarding the coronavirus and the effect to the victims. The second phase is the organization of the information in pamphlets and distributing to the COVID-19 patients. The handing over of the brochure fosters optimal communication among the families and populace due to the accessibility of the flyers educating the vital insights about the virus. Notably, nurses develop a training program to educate the illiterate ill individuals as a formative strategy to alleviate biased distribution of the knowledge resource.

Significance of the Problem to Nursing Practice and Patient, Family, or Population

Influence of State Board Nursing Practice Standards in promoting Development of Intervention Strategy

After the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government implemented policies and action plans to reduce the spread of the virus among people. It is an initiative that involved the lockdown of the country and states as protection and preventive measure. Despite the approach, a significant percentage of the populace encountered a challenge securing employment, causing financial instabilities. The rise in the number of infected citizens requiring treatment rendered the necessity to indicate core values of effective treatment and recovery, especially among the vulnerable demographic groups (Labrague & de Los Santos, 2021). The utilization of dynamic components fosters improved performance among the staff in delivery due to providing in-depth and objective details regarding the alternative solutions to specific problems.

It is crucial for a nurse to integrate the dynamic cultural practices with the treatment plans to enhance optimal recovery and client satisfaction. The foundation of competence within the nursing career is respecting diversity without judging the outcomes based on appropriateness. In this case, a medical practitioner implements the Purnell model under the spectrum of demonstrating expertise in comprehending the knowledge based on traditions of an individual and the distinction to the illness. Different communities practice diverse customs, thus, the common baseline risks the emergence of a common phenomenon within the healthcare sector (Ellis, 2019). The consequences from the engagements of persons from a particular background render the necessity to appreciate the dynamism while integrating an action plan that projects positive results from the practice. The organizational indicator of the simulation relies on the ability to integrate the institution’s deliverables, such as philosophies and mission, with the necessity of appreciating the heritage of different ethnicities (Sharifi et al., 2019).
